CRC Raptor Baby Shower

Sunday June 12 - 5 to 7 pm

CRC MEMBERS are invited to join us at the Raptor Center for a Baby Shower!

Baby season starts a bit later for raptors than it does for songbirds and waterfowl, but we already have many babies in our care. Come see videos and closed-circuit glimpses of youngsters being fed, learning to fly, or just interacting with each other and foster parents.

Though we cannot display the babies directly, there will be lots to see! With orphaned nestlings, our first choice is always to return to their parents any that are uninjured, and our second is to give them wild foster parents by putting them in another nest, but we do typically end up with a fair number of youngsters. If you thought it was hard to identify adult birds, wait til you see the babies! Refreshments provided.

Gifts gratefully accepted. Here is a list of items that would help us care for all the little ones:

	Clean towels (in like-new condition)
	Heating pads
	Leather gardening gloves
	Mice -live or frozen/raised indoors (or dedicated donation to purchase)
	Incubator (or dedicated donation to purchase)
	Live mealworms (or dedicated donation to purchase)
	Live crickets (or dedicated donation to purchase)
